• Matthew 7:7: "Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you".

• 1 John 5:14: "This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us".

• Psalm 145:18: "The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth".

• Philippians 4:6-7: "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus".

• 1 Peter 5:7: "Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you" (Implied in context of prayer).

• James 1:5: "If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you".

• Proverbs 3:5-6: "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight". 

For Strength & Perseverance

• Ephesians 6:10: "Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power" (leading into prayer for the armor of God).

• Romans 12:12: "Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer".
